A: “What was the price?” B: “What? What’s this? This bag filled with bones, blood, and brains? This mind, heart, and spirit that live inside?” A: “Yeah! What was the price?” B: “It took the most precious gift in heaven to buy it back and make me whole again. God thinks that much of me. It’s crazy, isn’t it?”

Prayer
Father, I don’t know how to feel about the fact that you think so highly of me. Forgive me for making myself less important by sinning, for dwelling on small things, and for chasing after things that don’t matter. I’m glad you love me so much. Help me, by your Spirit, live up to the value you see in me and strive for the high life you want me to live. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
