God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. — Psalm 46:1

Where can we go when all the walls fall, all the armies fall apart, and there is no longer any hope? To God, our Father who will always be there. He saved Israel in the worst of times, kept the Bible safe from people who wanted to get rid of it, and has led his Church through trouble and success for thousands of years. The same thing will happen to us until he brings us home to himself.

My Rock, My Hope, and My Protector, I thank you for keeping my life. I’m glad that you heard me when I asked for help and healing. I’m grateful that you’ve led my feet down paths that have been good for me. Please, God, stay close to me as I deal with life’s stresses and problems. Help me grow and be an example as I go through the storms of life by giving me your Spirit. I ask for it in the name of Jesus, my Savior and Lord. Amen.
