There are a lot of things that can go wrong in life. You can’t predict when something unexpected will happen. You don’t know when the next bad thing will happen. In a world where there is a lot of hate and terrorism, none of us know when the next terrible thing will happen. So what do we do when we don’t know what’s going on? We take refuge under the wings of the one who is above everything! We have faith in our Father because he has promised to bring us to himself no matter what happens today, in our world, and to our bodies. Because we’re joined to Christ, our lives are hidden with our Father. He is our safe place. We feel safe under his wings.

Prayer

What can I say to you, Father, to show how much I love and appreciate you for saving my life? You are the start and the finish. You are the God who has always been there and will always be there. You raised me as your own, so I call you my father. I won’t be scared because I’ve put all my faith, hope, and future in you. Under your wings, I feel safe. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
