I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me. — Psalm 119:30

Jesus told us, “Every day, take up your cross and follow me.” The way of truth is a choice we make every day. If we don’t make it a point to put God at the center of our lives and make him the most important thing in every choice we make, we move away from the life he wants us to live. Any choice we make without thinking about how it will make him happy is a choice that puts him on the outside of our lives. So let’s put all of our hopes in him. Let’s choose his way, which is the way of life and truth, and set our minds on doing what he wants.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I want to follow you and your truth today. Open my eyes so I can see your truth, and open my heart so I can live it with consistency and passion. I’ve decided again today to follow you with everything I’ve got: my heart, soul, mind, and strength. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
