God’s blessings come before our sacrifices when we are called to give up ourselves for others. When all the “if”s are changed to “since,” the sentence makes more sense from a grammatical point of view. After all the good things Jesus has given us, we are called to be one in spirit and purpose. When we are united with Christ, it gives us hope. His love gives us comfort. We do have community with the Holy Spirit. We have been shown kindness and care. So how can we not share those with our Christian family and find a way to live together in peace in his Kingdom?

In Jesus, you have richly blessed me, holy and righteous Father. Open my eyes to see how my spiritual family and those around me need to experience the same blessings from me. I pray with thanksgiving in my heart in the name of Jesus and because of the grace he has shown me. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
