Christians are forgiven for their imperfections. We recognize our imperfections. We are aware of our frailties, deficiencies, sinfulness, pettiness, immaturity, and cowardice… But Jesus demonstrated his love for us by sacrificing his body and shedding his blood on the cross. His sacrifice indicates that God considers us to be “perfect.” As a result of Jesus’ sacrifice, we are holy, spotless, and guiltless in God’s presence! The perfect sacrifice of Jesus has resulted in our perfect reconciliation with God!

Prayer
God Almighty, please pardon my sins. I tire of them and become frustrated by my inability to completely overcome them. Strengthen me, dear Father, so that I may face temptation with greater fortitude and courage. Thank you, God of glory, for sending Jesus to share your perfection and glory with me. You have adopted me as your child, O God, my Rock and my Redeemer. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
