There have been many false Messiahs, but only the True Messiah can save. Even though we often live for many “lords,” there is only one “Lord” who can free us from sin and death. People say there are many ways to get closer to God, but Jesus says he is the only way. So, in the end, we have to decide if we believe that Jesus is the only way to be saved or not. It’s up to us. But what we choose to do about Jesus really affects everything. Is Jesus your Lord? Is Jesus the most important name to you? Does Jesus save you? If not, please think again, because the Bible says, “No one else can save you.”

Prayer

Almighty God, I appreciate you choosing to extend your grace to me through Jesus. May I never misuse the holy name of Jesus. May Jesus take over as Lord in my life and in my heart. May my actions reflect how I want Jesus to be seen. May Jesus be aware that I have no one to whom I owe my allegiance. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
