Paul reminds Timothy that finding happiness in godliness is one of life’s greatest blessings (1 Tim. 6:6). (1 Tim. 6:6). With this wealth, our physical surroundings become far less essential than our character in those circumstances. Our bottom line is less essential than loving God with all our hearts. Those who are affluent and display godliness, according to Jesus, have proved that they are satisfied to be godly and will be that sort of person with or without wealth. Those who are impoverished and saintly have shown the same skill. So the bottom line is not how wealthy we are in terms of money, but how wealthy we are in terms of grace!
