When was the last time you prayed to God without asking for anything? When was the last time you just thanked and praised him? Why not say thank you and praise today? Don’t ask for anything; just thank and praise the Father. Give him praise for who he is, what he has done, and what he will do. Thank him for blessing you, saving you, and bringing you to his glory. Let’s give thanks and praise today.

Prayer

You deserve all the praise and thanks I can think of, dear Father. You are beautiful, regal, holy, powerful, and awesome. You are kind, gentle, loving, forgiving, and patient. You are more than I can imagine and closer than my own breath. Your greatness leaves me speechless, and your kindness fills my heart to overflowing. Please be praised in everything I think, say, and do. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
