Joy comes from God, not from things. Joy comes from knowing that he will always be with me, help me, protect me, and hold me up. How could I not be happy? God loves me so much that he gave up his most valuable possession so that I could join him in heaven. Because of his grace, I have joy.

Dear Father, thank you for being there for me all the time, knowing what’s on my mind, and caring for me in ways I can’t even imagine.
