Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; — Romans 12:12

Sometimes, the only way to survive is to just “set our jaw” and keep going, trusting that God is with us and helping us, no matter how things look. Choosing joy through hope instead of despair, choosing patient endurance in times of trouble, and choosing faithfulness in prayer are all decisions that come from trusting that the God who raised Jesus from the dead can also change our circumstances because he hears us.

Prayer

Create in me, O Mighty God, a firm and unwavering heart so that I can persevere joyfully through any challenge. In the steadfast Son’s name, I pray for this. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
