We are known to God. When he is present, we cannot pretend to be someone we are not. He is completely familiar with every aspect of us. Although most of us try to avoid it, this should allow us the freedom to have a very close relationship with our Father. On the other hand, if we want to change and become more like him, we must allow him access to our innermost thoughts, desires, and motivations.

Prayer

It is you who have the power to search hearts and minds of others, O God. But I know you love me because of the grace you demonstrated in Jesus. While I make every effort to serve you with respect and purity, I deeply regret the sin I have done. Please grant me your Spirit so that I can become more and more like Christ. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
