God is the LORD. We can’t take for granted how holy and powerful he is. But the amazing truth about God’s grace is that he loves us and wants us to be close to him and find safety in him. He is the one who thundered at Mount Sinai and spoke the universe into existence. We can be happy about being in awe. With holy fear, we can praise. We can feel safe because we don’t put our trust in what is temporary, weak, or made of flesh. We worship the LORD.
