There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. — Romans 8:1

At last I’m free! At last I’m free! Thank God the Most High, we are finally free! When we become Christians, we are no longer bound by the law. Through the Holy Spirit, God now lives in us. The Spirit shows us what God wants and then helps us do it. With the help of the Spirit, we can do what no law could make us do: live up to God’s righteous standards. We are set free from the power of law, sin, and death so that we can be like God and be with God.

Prayer

Father, I appreciate all the gifts you have given me. I want to express my gratitude to you today especially for freeing me from the law and endowing me with your Spirit. I commit to living my life for you today, so please fill me with your Spirit and give me strength. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
