To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: — Colossians 1:27

I have Christ in me. He lives in me until the power of the Spirit makes me completely like him (2 Corinthians 3:18). He lives in me until I can go home and be with him (John 14:1-21). He is with me everywhere I go and in everything I do. Our goal is not just for him to live in us, but for him to become more complete in us. That will be done, of course, by his power and the gift of his Spirit!

Prayer

God, may the power of Jesus in me motivate me to carry out your will today. Please draw my attention to your character and your concerns through the presence of your gracious Son and your enduring grace. Jesus, please transform my heart into that of our Father. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
