Children do not need to be taught; they need to be trained. Not everything you learn and know in life is intellectual. It’s about making truth a part of how we live every day. God tells us to put our children and how we raise them at the top of our list of priorities, because they will be with us forever while most of the other things we spend time on will not.

Prayer

Help me, O Great and Holy Counselor, as I attempt to understand how to effectively communicate your love and truth with my children. They should understand and love you even more than I do. Give me the discernment to make sensible judgments and the kindness to carry them out in the lives of my family. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
