Waiting is the one thing we don’t like to do. Maybe that’s why God wants us to learn how to do it so much. There is something good about staying strong during hard times and staying true when bad things happen. So God gives us times to wait so he can see if we are really looking for him or just for something new or easy.

Prayer

Wonderful father, I am aware that you have patiently waited for me a number of times in order for me to demonstrate my faith, turn from my sins, become more holy, pray to you, behave more responsibly, and assist those who are unable to assist me in return. As I wait for you to guide my choices, respond to my needs, and demonstrate your presence in my loneliness, please lend a hand. I really want to be with you and adore you. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
