Jesus was God here on earth. He wasn’t a copy, a copycat, or a clone. He was God with us. Even now, he keeps everything going with his words. So much for “Mother Nature.” But now that our sins have been paid for, God-with-us is also God-for-us at the side of the Father.

Prayer

As you have done so many times before, dear Lord, you take these simple words from me and bring them to the Father as my friend and brother. Thank you for giving up your life for me. Thank you for being a part of our universe and keeping it going. Thank you for your prayers every day. Thank you for being my God at the side of the Father. God, who sent Jesus to save us, is glorious, mighty, and holy. To him be glory, honor, and worship forever and ever. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
