He took on our sins. Not only did he carry them, but he also took the punishment we deserved. His pain was our salvation. His pain was our justification. How could we ever go back to sin after he went through so much to pay for it?

Prayer

Holy God, I will never understand how you could stand to see your most precious Son carrying the weight of my sin and all sin. Thank you for loving me so much and being such a great God. God, there is no one who can compare to you. I can’t even imagine how great you are, and I’ve never dreamed of how much you love me. I will live my life today for your glory because Jesus took my sin on himself so that I could be your child. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
