God loves his kids even when they don’t do what he says. But God showed Israel that if they kept being bad, he would leave them and stop blessing them. But when they truly change their minds and admit their sins, God comes back to their lives with joy to bring revival, renewal, and restoration.

Father and Almighty LORD, please pardon me for my sins. I reveal them openly to you today. . . (be explicit about sins you wish to confess) Having you in my life, respecting your Kingdom with my behavior and honoring your love with my graciousness are very essential to me. Please resuscitate me anew and empower me to love, good actions, and pure life so that you will be glorified. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
